Imperial War Museum
Following last night’s successful launch of Mindful, we are now pleased to announce the show is open to the public. Yesterday’s VIP viewing followed by gala dinner at the imperial war museum was a huge sucess and both hosts, Stephen Fry and Lord Melvyn Bragg made passionate and entertaining speeches as Fry took over the Mind Presidency from his predecessor, Lord Bragg.
Guests including Lady Victoria Hervey, Olivia Lee, Bip Ling, Grace Woodward, Suki Waterhouse, Kate Moross, Gail Porter, Neil & Christine Hamilton and James Rhodes enjoyed a fantastic banquet with food designed by the Four Seasons.
Whilst underneath the planes and tanks of the main atrium, Lord Dalmaney of Sotheby’s whipped up the crowd with his usual charismatic manner raising tens of thousands for the new Mind creative therapies fund which Stuart has initiated. The new fund is now on track to offer creative therapies throughout England and Wales to those whose mental health is suffering.
The exhibition at the Old Vic Tunnels runs until the 27th September and also includes a series of daily arts events including comedy, theatre, music including Jessica Hynes, a film night by Rushes Soho Shorts and live performances by Soko, Two Wounded Birds and My Tiger My Timing.
