NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM

Invited by the Moscow Department of Culture, Stuart Semple presented his iconic HappyClouds as a headline public art event for the official programme, flooding the streets with thousands of floating eco bubble, smiley faces.

Moscow’s Happycloud performance builds upon iconic performances, hosted originally outside London’s Tate Modern, followed by Milan during the 2009 Salone del Mobile with Italian Vogue and most recently at Dublin’s First Fortnight Arts Festival, 2014.

Night At The Museum 2014 saw 246 museums, galleries and art spaces including The Garage Centre for Contemporary Art, The Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts, National Gallery Solianke and The Moscow Museum of Contemporary Art open their doors and welcome 1.2 million visitors, making it one of the biggest cultural events in the world.
