Stuart Semple is proud to have created a new artwork in support of a very special performance to be held this Sunday (25th October 2015) at the Royal Court Theatre in London.

The performance celebrates the 5th Anniversary of ‘Dramatic Need’ a chairty that brings the arts and creativity to rural areas of Africa as a successful fool tool for conflict resolution, social development, gender empowerment and the assimilation of health messages in underprivileged communities.

For his piece Stuart has drawn upon a new piece of writing by Laura Wade which is based on a testimony of a young girl called Goodness who had been abused by her uncle. The work deals with her inability to articulate her experience to her grandmother, having to resort to a variety of imagined bad dream scenarios to describe her obvious distress.

If you can attend on Sunday, please do. It will be an incredibly special evening.
