I’ve finally finished perfecting THE WORLD’S MOST GLITTERY GLITTER!!!! and I’m ready to share it with everyone who wants to try it out and make art out of it, well almost everyone! Anish Kapoor isn’t getting any. He’s still at large hoarding the world’s blackest black all for himself. (The big meanie!)
So I’m letting my Diamond Dust out to up the ante and keep the pressure on him to do the right thing with his black.
His black may absorb 99.8% of all light and look like a black hole but this glitter reflects light like nothing else.
The diamond dust I’ve made is the worlds most sparkly natural high-grade glitter. 99.8% clarity, cut into super-shards to reflect light at loads of angles. It’s unbelievably glittery.

I get it! Vantablack is expensive and really complicated to use! However Anish hasn’t managed to make anything out of it yet… I really think the best chance this material has of making an impact in art is for it to be opened up so the community can work out what to do with it. As an artist I can;t think of any other substance that I am banned from using just because I’m an artist! It’s so wrong, it’s so unfair… 3D printers were expensive and complicated but due to the open source collaboration are now affordable and changing the world. This approach works for software and ideas. To move the culture forward artists need to share what they have. So many artists have productions big enough to innovate with VantaBlack, Hirst, Murakami,Koons, Ron Arad, Banksy to name but a few. This substance belongs to the world not just one artist!
I hope you enjoy this stuff… it’s been an 8 year labour of love to get here and I’m so happy that I can share this with you all finally.
